I had the honor of attending one of the most amazing wedding ceremonies I have ever been to on April 7th. One of my very best friends came out and announced he was gay after years of hiding in secret. He met his match, his soul mate, his forever future. Arthur and Nate have a special kind of love that is pure and full of passion. If we can all experience a love this great we would be so lucky. A little background on how I know these amazing men. Nate and I met working together at Hyman’s seafood back when I was still living my vacation life in Charleston. We moved up to our “adult” jobs at Benefitfocus and lived together in my ghetto apartment in West Ashley for a little bit #roomies. I had no idea my sweet sweet friend was keeping such an intense secret but alas he has found himself, happiness, and one of the best to call his husband! I am beyond happy for the 2 of you and cannot wait to see where life takes you both. The wedding was picturesque from the venue, to the music, delicious food, and all the people there to support your love. Not even the rain could ruin that perfect evening on the porch overlooking the marsh. I made new friends and new memories I will cherish forever. My umbrella was a gift from my mom (she always finds the cutest little accessories!) it is actually supposed to be for weddings in particular so it worked perfect and matched my pink theme!
