Today is the first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!!! This is the most wonderful time of the year for most blogger and fashionistas alike! I am sad to confess I am currently on a budget trying to prepare for my NYC trip at the end of the month. Therefore I will only purchase things that I feel I REALLY need. I am currently on the hunt for a weekender bag and some good staple sweaters for fall! See my top picks from the sale below:

 

I know its hotter than hell outside but this is the best time to stock up on fall apparel.

These Steve Madden Mules will be my most worn shoe this fall! ONLY $49 during the sale then back up to $80. This is why this sale is the (cue music) most wonderful timmmme of the yearrrrrr. SHOP –> OMG SHOES

Last but not least – LEGGINGS! These will pair so well with sweaters and booties! I cannot have enough pairs of these SPANX faux leather leggings. $72 which may seem slightly steep but they are normally $110.
